The Mpigi District Women Representative in Parliament, Ms Teddy Nambooze has started visiting schools within the area to support, together external examiners, emotionally, and physiologically children yet to sit for their final primary seven examinations this year.
The pupils are yet to sit for the final Primary Leaving Examinations between 3rd and 5th of November, this year.
Nambooze, while visiting the pupils, together with examiners asked the pupils to revised further, especially what clears fails students in their final exams.
She also talked about the common mistakes made while doing exams, get career guidance, among other things, asked the pupils to ensure they take note so as to pass gratifyingly.
Nambooze and the team also offered tips on how to manage and pass examinations with flying colors. “We encouraged them to trust God and his processes, concentrate, be calm for if they want to be successful,” she says.
Further adherence to the rules and guidelines and they also move together collectively, could also according to Hon Nambooze help the pupils win.
The pupils had been earlier dismayed after many of them failed to get anyone reaching out for encouragement as they sought to win in their final exams.
Nambooze, upon ascension to the position if the District Woman Representative for Mpigi initiated a program dubbed Tereza Mpigi as part of the initiative to enhance better grades within Mpigi District.
The initiative has so far seen more than 9500 children get back to school at subsidized costs to ensure that they learn, get better grades.
The MP has also engaged in supporting parents be able to do some income generating activities that would see them get tuition and school dues for the children.
Among the income generating activities include soap, chalk and book making, using the available resources to ensure that they not only get money, but also be able to give the children the necessary requirements to study at school.
